Difference between GS110TP-100EUS and GS110TP-200EUS
Hi All :) I'm new here and I'm looking for answer on my question: What is difference between GS110TP-100EUS and GS110TP-200EUS so v1 and v2 version? I just consider to buy switch v1 from second ha...

Hi again,
The difference between a v1 and a v2 can vary. It depends on many things, like which product line, etc.
Sometimes, the changes are very significant - feature set changes and so on. Other times it just means that Netgear will review and see if any changes are needed. These changes might be certain internal hardware parts they exchanged or changed the manufacturing process slightly. It is not something that we, in support, have an overview over.
So, in your case the software and features are the same on the GS110TPv1 and the GS110TPv2. Thus it is "just" revised hardware. It could mean a number of things (that I don't have details on) - none of which are important to you as all you care about is which feature set it has :)
I hope that makes sense.
Cheers

Hi Kamil_M
Welcome!
You are correct in assuming that this just means version 1 and version 2. There is no difference from a configuration/features point of view. The v2 just has revised hardware. The v1 is still perfectly fine though!
You can go with a v1, no problem. The only issue is that Netgear's policy will not allow hardware warranty or official support on second hand units. However, we are more than happy assist via the forums, but no hardware replacement can be made - if the unit breaks one day.
