Difference between GS748TP and GS752TP
Hi,
whats the difference between the GS748TP and GS752Tp other than number of dedicated SFP ports and mac memory ?
Thanks in advance
Chris
Hi,
Apart from some physical differences, which you pointed out yourself, these switches are very similar. The GS752TP is a newer model than the GS748TP is. However, they hold the almost same feature set. Notable feature differences are that the GS752TP can do 802.3at high power PoE on the first 8 ports. The GS748TP is only 802.3af low power PoE capable. The GS752TP can also some Layer 2+ work (static routing), whereas the GS748TP cannot.

The S3300 line up of smart switches are the newest models in this category, so if you are in the market to buy then you should look at the S3300-52X-PoE+ switch. That switch support 802.3at High Power on all ports and it has 10G uplink ports to boost.S3300-52X-PoE+ data sheet
