Hi bugmenot2,
Since you have already tried two PSE switches already, it would be best that you open an online case with NETGEAR Support at anytime about your concern for further assistance.

Hi bugmenot2,
I do not have an Ubiquiti ES-24-250W switch to replicate your concern. Kindly answer the questions below:
a. What is the current firmware version of the GS105PE?
b. Have you tried using other PSE switch(es) other than the Ubiquiti ES-24-250W switch to isolate the problem?

Hi DaneA,
a. I am running V1.4.0.6. I updated last night.
b. I didnt try that before but I just tried with Dlink DES-1210-28P and same issue.
I also tried my other GS105PE but again same issue.
But I made progress I think. If I keep the GS105PE disconnected for 5mins, and then reconnect, the UAP-Pro also works.
Dont know if it was just luck, or GS105PE needs to discharge or something.
Still it is a flaw and I would like to resolve it as this would require me to run to each of my GS105PE switches and manually disconnect/connect them for PSE to work every time my main switch is updated/rebooted.
Thank you.

same here, same problem now with 4 different GS105PE. See also support case # 27108350.
Guess there is some hardware issue with the device ? I observed this by time going worse...

Kai
btw tried all different available firmware 1.2.x / 1.3.x / 1.4.0.6 / ...
Thanks to bugmenot2 - at least a workaround for the devices not build into the wall...
Anyway to make this hardreset other then pressing the reset button for 10 seconds ?
