GS108PEv3 switches DHCP address

I just purchased the GS108PEv3 about a week ago. Went through setting it up including switching it to DHCP so that it would be easier to discover and access through my LAN. A few times now I have gone to access it and found that it has switched itself back to the 192.168.0.239 address. Does anyone know why this happens?

  • All these switches revert to the default 192.168.0.239 IP address if the switch port to the router (with the DHCP server) is disconnected and reconnected, or the switch is restarted/rebooted - and the DHCP server does not honour the DHCP request.

Aside, DHCP client is default on all these switches, too.
