GS305EPP New Firmware But Not GS308EPP?
I see new firmware v2.0.04 for GS305EPP but not for GS308EPP. I would think these run the same software. Will new 2.0.0.4 firmware be forthcoming for the GS308EPP?

Bug fixes:
- Fixes the issue where the switch incorrectly forwards specific multicast traffic across different VLANs.
Known Issues:
- After you upgrade the firmware to version 1.0.0.7, the Home page in the device UI incorrectly displays the port LED settings as OFF, while the physical port LEDs on the front panel display as ON.
Workaround: To fix this issue, reset the switch to the factory default settings.

To me, the question remains if the similar issue exists on the GS308E, assuming it's built on the same switch chip, regardless of it's EoL status Iphie_C IphieChen

Netgear doesn't tell us when updates are coming or being worked on.
Are you having an issue? It looks like the only fix on the 305 is for a specific multicast traffic across vlans.
I have the GS305EPP so that's why I noticed the update. My bro has the GS308EPP.
With the business class stuff, the updates aren't always "big" updates. I'd be confident that the "specific multicast traffic" was probably a one off user case. Sometimes updates can risk more than they gain so if others aren't having issues on their devices, why update them unless its a security concern.
An update for the 308 was released 6.23. I like to stay current. I have the 305 and my bro had the 308.
