GS308T configure asymmetric VLAN
It was a while ago that someone had a asymmetric VLAN configured and working on these switches. I found it in this thread. I tried the configuration with newest firmware 1.0.5.5 and I am unable to r...
I have managed to get things working. In may scenario I wanted following,
VLAN1 (default) port 1 connects to the router. Port 2 connects to local DNS server.
VLAN10 port 3 connects to my local admin/main computer.
VLAN20 ports 4-5 connects to Smart TV's
VLAN30 port 6 connects to work only PC.
FYI, all devices use local DNS
typical mistake is that people try it with just two VLAN - while one does need three.
