GS516TP Not Found using Smart Control Center

Netgear will only provide support if I give them money on this switch. I do not have an active support contract.
Even though this has never worked I do have a work around by using my Mac computer and a browser that can access the switch.
I don't plan on paying netgear money when I have a method to configure the switch.
I just wish their software actually worked.

I just want to follow-up. Were you able to open an online case with NETGEAR Support about your concern on the GS516TP that its not detected on the Smart Control Center utility? If yes, kindly keep us posted about the progress of it.

I'm sorry to know that the support warranty on the GS516TP has already expired. However, for me, its better to manage the switch through its web-GUI via a browser. But of course, it would be best to have the Smart Control Center utility work as well.
