GS724T v4 Memory err log interpretation
Dear sir. I am a system integration engineer in South Korea. As I am checking switches, I found something abnormal. My client uses Netgear Smart switch, GS724Tv4, so I request to experts her...
Did the error only occur once or is it a recurring issue? It potentially is a memory problem on the switch affected..
In case it's recurring, that switch needs to be replaced. Assuming the switch is still under warranty, head to https://my.netgear.com where your switch is registered, probably on your organization business account. Click on the device listed, and follow the [Request Hardware Support] process.

The error occurred so many times already, however it shows as if it works well.But I am wondering that if the error occurs due to memory problem, the system alarm priority must be high, isn't it?
However as I wrote the past article, the log starts with "<11>", that is severity level 3 by the software manual.
I read software manual, and I found the the severity level is classified as below.
- Emergency(0) / Alert(1) / Critical(2) / Error(3) / Warning(4) / Notice(5) / Informal (6) / Debug(7)In my opinion, if it caused by memory problem, severity level should be 0 - 2, I think.
Of course, I cannot explain logically why it should be 0 - 2, it is just by my thought.
Anyway, I am going to suggest to replace the equipment, because it has been so long time since it has installed.Once again, Thank you for your kind reply.
