Have you tried using a different switch port (and also a different LAN port on the router)?

Thanks for the advice.
I'll try a different port on the router and switch.
Unfortunately I can't access the switch's web. §
The switch is also inaccessible in Netgear Insight.
I was thinking about rebooting as a preventative measure,
like rebooting every 3 days at night to avoid a drop in connection.
