Thanks for the advice.
I'll try a different port on the router and switch.
Unfortunately I can't access the switch's web. §
The switch is also inaccessible in Netgear Insight.
I was thinking about rebooting as a preventative measure,
like rebooting every 3 days at night to avoid a drop in connection.

All application layer, no matter if it's the Web UI, Insight portal or App - it requires an active, working and mostly healthy connection path.
