GS728TP and Others Web Interface horrible

Read comments on the GS752, I have the GS728Tp. It will be my last Netgear. Between our offices we have 10 units and when time to replace I'm going somewhere else.

The web interface using Firefox, Chrome, IE10, IE11 is horrible and stops/locks up etc. when trying to use it.

Seen many others posting similar comments. Seems none have replies from Netgear other than it is a browser issue.

Goodby Netgear.

As a workaround on IE10 and IE11, have you tried to add the IP address of the GS728TP switch when you go to IE Menu then click on  Tools > Compatibility View?

    Hi mrmmd_dad,

Were you able to try the workaround I suggested?

  • The new NETGEAR switches actually use a different UI now. So I presume, they have read comments (as you suggested). See S3300 and M5300 for example.
What's the exact issue you're encountering?
