GSS116E spontaneously resets its IP address
Ever few months, my switch spontaneously resets its managememnt address to its default of 192.168.0.239 and I have to manually reconfigure it to use DHCP. All other settings are retained. Firmware is...
Sounds plausible even though it has been a while since the last power outage and I rarely use the web console for the switch. The router of course does take longer to boot than the switch.
I wonder if I can set the switch static address to the one the router has reserved for it in the DHCP table.

Yes, well feasible. The switch allows the configuration of a fixed static IP config instead of trusting the router DHCP reservation.
