GSS116E Backplate Problem

The small rectangular plate covering the locking tab assembly has come off due to the underlying retaining bush coming free from the backplate. Anyone know how the spring fits in with the other two parts that are under the rectangular plate? GSS116E Backplate Cover Issue.jpg

    Welcome to the community! :) 

     

    I've found out that you have already opened an online case with regard to your concern.  I'm afraid to inform you that it cannot be re-assigned to a NETGEAR Support Expert.  Kindly access this link and follow the instructions (with screenshots) there on how to open an online case with NETGEAR Support.  Be sure to attach the same image or screenshot that you have posted here to the online case you have opened.  Also, attach a .pdf or .doc copy of the Proof of Purchase or Sales Invoice of your GSS116E for warranty verification on the online case.  An online replacement might be processed for as long as your GSS116E is within the hardware warranty.
