How to assign PoE to the port of a XS728T
The XS728T has 8 ports PoE+ according to the technical data.
Which ports are PoE (by default)?
OR
how to assign PoE to a port?
I been through the (user) manuals multiple time and PoE is mentioned but i cannot find how/where to assign it.
thanks

No idea from where this idea is coming from. On one hand it lacks the "P" in the product type, on the other hand don't mix it up with other models like some GS728xPx models where select or all ports offering PoE PSE.

Neither - no kind of PoE, it's in no aspect a PoE switch with select PSE or any PD. The 28-Port and 48-Port 10-Gigabit Copper Smart Managed Pro Switch with 4 SFP+ Ports Software User Manual does mention PoE capabilities in the context of LLDP-MED discovery only.
Hi Schumaku,
Thank for the reply. Good to know i can stop my search.
I am still confused though. Attached a printscreen of the technical data of the XS728T on the Netgear website
What does the following mean, if there is no PoE on the device?
- Number of PoE ports : 8
- PoE+ (802.3at) : 8
- Total PoE Power budget (Watts) : 8 PoE+ (55W)
