MS305E Invalid password when accessed through DNS name instead of IP
I just configured a new MS305E. When I access the UI through it's IP address (http://10.10.1.5), everything works correctly. When I access the UI through a DNS Name (http://switch1.home), I get the...
High Kurt,
I did change the device name of the switch (I tried with and without the .home suffix).
The new name appears in NETGEAR Discovery Tool, but it still doesn't work through the DNS name.
Also, when accessing the UI through the IP address, the logon screen shows the device model (MS305E), but when accessing it through the DNS name, it shows "Failed" instead ???
