Problems connecting Netgear XS748T to Ubiquiti UniFi US-48-750W via SFP+ Port

It appears that I solved the problem myself. I purchased a set of:
10Gtek for Cisco SFP-10G-LR, 10Gb/s SFP+ Transceiver module 1310nm, 10km

And the LR version worked instantly. I honestly don't know what the difference is between an SR SFP+ module and an LR SFP+ module but for whatever reasons the LR module allowed these two switches to connect.
