Prosafe FS726TP Not discovered by either SMartWizard or SCC
I am attempting to upgrade the Firmwareof the switch. Upgrade instructions indicate that I may need to use Smartwizard to upgrade the Bootloader and then will need SCC to apply the firmware upgrade....

Hi askme233,
My bad! :( I found out that there are only 2 options available on the Firmware Menu when you access the web-GUI of the FS726TP. The 2 options are: Configuration Backup and Factory Reset. There is no option to perform a firmware upgrade.
Here are my follow-up questions:
a. Does your PC/laptop have a software firewall or anti-virus installed? If yes, kindly disable or uninstall it for the meantime and check if the FS726TP will be detected by the SCC utility.
b. Have you tried using other PCs/laptops and check if the FS726TP will be detected by the SCC utility?
c. Have you tried to reboot the FS726TP then check if it will be detected by the SCC utility?

Thanks for the response. I looked for an option to upgrade from the GUI, but saw nothing. There is a Firmware menu section, but I only recall options to save config, reset, or reboot. Is there something I am missing?
