After my (very bad) purchase I was realized that NETGEAR now mandate to register in order to enable full functionality of the switch, OK, ma bad product/supplier choice, so I registered. This is my last Netgear product I'll ever purchase or, a IT sconsultant, will never suggest Netgear to anyone.
All your customers and probably all IT consultants own Android and iOS based mobile phones and many more toys which registers in several ways to many known and unknown players. In fact, this does never stop! Depending where you life or where you travel to, you get even free apps forced added.
Here for a tiny switch, the few people make big noise about a one-off registration - in comparison to the above it's ridiculous. In exchange, you get limited lifetime warranty (EoS + three years) instead of just the legally required minimum (US twelve months, EU six months, or can you proof that a problem existed as the device was new to get 24 months)?
And why exactly please? I understand it might be a problem if you are living on a space station or an Antarctica research station and face a chicken-and-egg problem...

No idea just the [Ok] should do it - the ones we have installed showed a don't remind me again tick bottom right on the intrusive pop-up..
Time for a firmware update probably?

Notice
This device is currently set to be managed through the web browser interface (GUI) from the local LAN connection only.
You can activate the Insight Cloud Management, which allows you to manage the device through the NETGEAR Insight mobile app or Insight Cloud Portal for remote/cloud anytime, anywhere management and monitoring, by changing the management mode to NETGEAR Insight Mobile App and Insight Cloud Portal (Cloud/Remote).
To use remote/cloud monitoring and management you need to create a NETGEAR account, if you have not yet done so, and subscribe to the Insight service. Details about the Insight Solution and its benefits and features and pricing can be found at: https://insight.netgear.com.
Note: Switching from Local-only management to Insight management will reset the device to factory defaults so that the new configuration and network topology can be created from the Insight Cloud. Once you have enabled the cloud/remote management from Insight, the local web browser interface will be disabled and should then only be used for advanced debugging or for non-Insight-manageable settings changes. To see a list of the Insight-manageable device settings, click here.
