Switch Discovery Tool not showing connection
Used discovery tool for a long time - recently upgraded PC to Win 11 and now when I load the discovery tool it does not register (or give an option) to select the connection (Wired or Wifi adapers) to initiat the scan from. I turned off firewall in case it is that (but still fails to pick up the LAN interface.
The Prosafe Plus utility does search and pick up the switches correctly.
I've seen a few posts of others having the same issue.
Any ideas how to get it to work?

Does the Windows Explorer pick-up Computer, Network Infrastructure, Other Devices? If not, see below.

A Complete different, pure L2 protocol, requiring a low-level driver in place.

The network discovery issue you are facing could be caused by various factors. Here are some possible ideas.
Check Network Settings
Make sure your network is set to Private and that Network Discovery and File Sharing are enabled. Path: Control Panel → Network and Sharing Center → Change advanced sharing settings.
Check Relevant Services
Ensure the following services are running:
- Function Discovery Provider Host
- Function Discovery Resource Publication
- SSDP Discovery
- UPnP Device Host
- TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Check and restart these services in the "Services" app.

I am experiencing this issue as well. I checked all of those services, and my network settings, and I am still not getting anything to show up in the connection field.
I have another computer on our network with the same settings, and it shows an ethernet device.
What did you end up doing to resolve this?
