Upgrading firmware on GS105Ev2 -- fails using TFTP
Greetings, I have two GS105Ev2 switches that need a firmware upgrade. The current firmware on the switches is 1.3.0.3 and I'm trying to upgrade to 1.6.0.11 downloaded from the Netgear site. ...
The tftpd firmware upgrade (I was upgrading from 1.4.0.9 is extremely picky about the tftp server in use. I was running Ubuntu 22, and tftpd failed, as did tftpd-hpa, but "apt-get install atftpd" worked! I will not go into the process of configuring the server, good luck!
