As far as I have researched online, Hash Mode 3 (Src/Dest MAC, VLAN, EType, incoming port) is compatible for most scenarios while Hash Mode 6 (Src/Dest IP and TCP/UDP Port fields) is used when dealing with virtual machines such as Hyper V. As reference, kindly access and read the forum links below:

About your concern on which Hash Mode to select for redundancy for the FreeNAS, though I am not familiar with FreeNAS, however, I suggest you to use Hash Mode 3 (Src/Dest MAC, VLAN, EType, incoming port) if ever the FreeNAS supports a Hash Type of Layer 2+3.
You may leave the STP mode and Link Trap enabled as these are needed to prevent loops.
