GS105 v5 auto negotiation issue

After some assistance

I have GS105 v5 which is connected with all cat 7 cables. when connected to the switch the PC and NAS are shown as 1G (two green lights)  and this is the case for any of the ports they are connected. The wan which is direct into my BT Smart Hub 2 albeit through cat 7 cable in the house only connects at 100 (i green light) in any port. A speed test gives approx 90mbs. Pull the LAN cable from the PC and put the WAN directly into the PC and I am getting approx 902mbs (fibre into the property)

I have had the switch for approx 6 months and this is always on and I did have an issues ehn I bought it that it would not auto negotiate but I had some cabling issues one resolved this has been flying.

I realise these are first world issues as some people would be contect with 100mb but I am streaming and want the full bandwidth.

I suspect the answer is a new switch as I cannot find my receipt as Argos has my order history but cannot view after 6 months really helpful.

What, exactly, does "The wan" mean to you in this context?  What,
exactly, is connected to what, exactly?  (Hint: If a device has
different types of Ethernet ports, then "connected to device" is not
    enough detail.)

"in any port" on which device?

A router can have a WAN side and a LAN side.  A network switch is
all-LAN; all its ports are equivalent.

If you have one cable which causes a problem, then I'd suspect that
one cable.  All eight conductors are needed for 1Gb/s speed; only (the
right) four are needed for lower speeds.

       Huh?

If you're installing your own connectors, then I'd inspect the work
carefully.  One bad connection out of sixteen could cause this.

    > I suspect the answer is a new switch [...]

Does the problem move with the switch, or with the cable?

To simplify all new CAT 7 cables and Cat 6 through the house. cable from router direct into pc gives full Gb but pull from pc and put in switch only 100. pc to switch gives full Gb I have tested in every port and the same conditions stand.
