GS108LP POE power drops
Hi all,
I am running 4 cameras connected to different Netgear Switches over POE.
3 of the cams are connected to 2x GS108LP, 1 cam on Port 1 (Switch 1) and 2 cams on Port 1+2 (Switch 2), the 4th camera is conected to a GS108PE.
The 3 cams on GS108LP are loosing connection randomly 1-2 times a day, mostly in the morning between 6:00 an 8:30am which forces a reboot of the cams. I see a "Power off / Power on" event in camera logs. For a test I connected these 2 cams to a GS110TP and the cameras stopped rebooting every day.
The 4th cam connected ar GS108PE does not show this issue. All cams same model and firmware.
The GS108LP supports 802.3af/802.3at with 60W, the camera requests PoE 802.3af 36-57 VDC, 0,35A, max 11,2W.
Is there a known issue about GS108LP and POE?
Cheers
Dirk

Welcome to the community! :)
I suggest you to open a support ticket with NETGEAR Support at anytime here. Kindly state the status of your GS108LP switches as well as you may include the link to this post. If your GS108LP switches has been proven faulty, an online replacement will be processed for as long as the switches are still within hardware warranty.
