GS116PP vs GS116LP

Hi, I have an opportunity to buy the GS116PP from Amazon UK at a price that's cheaper than the GS116LP. I am concerned that the PP model will use more power than I need and I just want to know if the power consumption is managed by the demand from the connected devices. I know the primary differences between the two models (PoE budget mainly) so I suppose I'd just like to know if buying the 183w compared to the 76w is a no-brainer if it's cheaper? I will primarily be using the switch to add ethernet ports around my house and IP cameras etc but I also have 2 AP's which have about 8 clients each. In total I have approx 45-50 devices connected at any one time. I use a Deco M9 mesh network (3x M9 + 1x M5) for my connections. Many.thanks.

    Moggy61,

    Welcome to the community! :)

If I were to choose, I prefer the GS116PP given its specifications.  But still, the final decision is yours. :)

    Happy New Year!!! :)

    Regards,
