JGS524 v2 - fanless or not?
Hope someone here can help -
simple question
1) Is the JGS524 v2 fanless or does it have a fan? (not specified on its spec sheet)
2) If it has a fan - how loud - thinking of using in the domestic setting...
I asked Netgear support but they were not sure if it had a fan or not....!

Yes, it (JGS524v2) does have a fan. Though some of our 24-port models may be fanless for a more quiet operation. I can't provide numbers for the loudness, but it is not really loud since the fans are small. I can probably compare it to the noise a regular 24-port non PoE switch model.
