NETGEAR GS108LP Loss of power triggering restart
I am running a unifi wifi system over my GS108LP and noticed since I got it that whenever we have a short powercut, this usually happens when the washing machine starts pumping out water, I loose power over ethernet which is enough to trigger a restart of my wifi system. I installed a UPS (basically a battery pack to bridge power losses) and noticed that when power comes back (switch runs fine using the UPS in the meantime) the switch restarts, all the lights go dark and come back on. I never had a poe switch before and am wondering if anyone knows about this issue and what could be done about it, the powercuts are a fraction of a second and my old conventionel WIFI router didn't care it just kept going. Or do I have a faulty unit ? thanks in advance
