POE IP Security Camera Switch

I have an unopened Netgear Prosafe GS108 Gigabit Switch.  Can I use this switch for my long distance POE IP security cameras? 

5 cameras are 130 feet away and I need a switch to connect them to the one run 130 feet. Can I use this model switch?  Thanks

    Hi Jupitermoon25,

     

    Welcome to the community! :) 

     

    The GS108 switch does not support PoE.  I recommend you the GS110TP switch which supports PoE on all 8 ports and you can use this with your 5 cameras.  Be sure to you use CAT5e or CAT6 ethernet cables between the GS110TP switch and the 5 cameras.
