Hi marcosgu,
Sorry, as your switch gs105v4 is plus switch, it only support Prosafe Plus Utility tool to discover. SCC only can discover Smart switch.
So could you try to discover gs105v4 with Utility again?
Retired_Member, the GS105v4 is not a ProSAFE Plus switch. It is simply unmanaged. There is no IP interface, nor configuraiton utility, to manage an unmanaged switch. ProSAFE Plus switches have an E in the model name. This switch simply switches traffic.

Marking this original request as solved. You can't ping an unmanaged switch.

Hi All,
Kohdee and ElaineP are correct. I could not execute a ping command successfully with the the switch in-line at all unless it was used to connect to say another computer perhaps (which is what I did).

Hi Marcosgu
Sorry for the confusion but as my colleagues commendted the GS105 it's an unmanaged switch you can not ping it.
However I would like to recommend that if you want to have more visibility on the network and more control to use our Web Managed Plus switches (GS105E) as they come with VLAN,QoS, Cable Health, Port Mirroring, Static LAG, etc...
Hope it helps!
