DHCP Server Range Not Large Enough

Although the DHCP server built into this firewall allows subnets with a /16 mask (255.255.0.0). The DHCP service will not allow a Range of addresses much larger than 300 clients.  Are there any updated firmwares or requests for changes to future firmwares that would allow the DHCP server to manage addresses for more clients?  A total range of 800 to 1000 clients would be much more useful.  If the DHCP server will not support more users than it currently supports.  I will most likely have to purchase a dedicated server to handle the DHCP role for the network or replace the firewall entirely with a model that will support a greater number of DHCP clients.

    Hi ngc4,

    Welcome to the community! :)

    Kindly answer the questions below:

    a. What is the current firmware version of the SRX5308?

    b. Have you tried to perform a factory reset to your SRX5308 then reconfigure it from scratch and check if same problem occurs?

I can't find any documentation on maximum amount of leases allowed, but if you're going to have 800+ clients I would advise that you get a dedicated DHCP server, probably better for managing that amount of users.
