Enable Remote Management on FVS336gv2 Through CLI
So I did something incredibly stupid trying to clear a problem we were having and I disabled HTTPS remote management in the GUI and now I'm not able to get in to the routers interface.
I can however, Telnet into the router since Telent is enabled.
How can I enable https remote management throught the cli? I can't find anything in the CLI pdf or I'm missing something.
Thanks in advance!
Hey,
Should be enough to;
# system remote_management https configure
# access_type everyone
# enable_ipv4 y
# ip_version ipv4
# save

Hello cfx69,
Welcome to the community!
What you disabled is only for the Remote Management, you should still have access locally. Are you getting any error messages upon logging in?
Thanks,

The router is remote and hooked to a switch, not directly to a computer. I'm going to have to go oniste to connect directly.
Thanks,
C..

I'm seeing the following subconfig:

btw..... you aren't leaving telnet wide open on your WAN interface, are you? Just cause that's pretty insecure if so....

I wasn't leaving telnet open until this stupid mistake. I or one of my techs will be going onsite to conenct directly to the router, bypassing the swicth to see if we can get it fixed.
Using telnet from the server to access the router, I'm able to log in, however any command issued comes back with an unknown command. Router was acting a bit weird, thus the steps taken to try and fix things.
Thanks for the reply!
