I have also experienced this issue. I tried it three times and it cuts access to my exchange server services every time. I have tried to restore the configuration from a file and that did not solve the problem. Do you mean to hard reset and enter all of the settings again one by one? I have a lot of entries, so if someone else tries this and it works please let us know.
