SRX5308 BT Business ADSL
Anyone got this working?
Vigor 120 + SRX5308. Using DHCP i can connect.
Using BT Business Hub 3 i can connect and assign a fixed IP.
Vigor 120 + SRX5308 with a static IP i cannot connect. Occasionally get PPP failed to negotiate.
BT Business Hub in Bridge Mode + SRX5308, the Hub lights go into speed training mode and i get no connection.
Has anyone got a SRX5308 working with BT businsess ADSL and Static IP, if so, how?

- aditMentorMake sure the ISP is not cacheing the MAC Address.
- jmizoguchiVirtuosoHave you consult BT support?
- PSmithNoviceThanks for the replies.
According to BT Business support, if i have multiple static ip addresses the router cannot have a static IP. It will always have a DHCP address and i have to assign the static IP to the device i want visible on the internet. This apparently doesn't cover a wan port (the representative didn't know what that was), i can however assign a static ip address to the router if i only have a single static ip.
Ho Hum. - jmizoguchiVirtuosoSounds like main IP are statically assign by dhcp which is no rare so that seems right
Rear you can use inbound rules and assign correct static ip on WAN section and forwarded to LAN device or use classical routing
