Firmware update failed!
I have two units. One upgraded to 2.1.12 and then 3.5.5.0 with no problems.
the other, after the 2.1.12 upgrade would not accept my username and password, I tried the default too, nothing worked. it was still coming up on the static IP assigned to it, but I could NOT log in.
so I tried factory reset, hold in the reset, power on, hold for 5 seconds, etc.
on my main router, I can see 192.168.0.100 is connected to the router. but I can not get it to load on any browser, on any computer. I even tried connecting it directly to an isolated PC, doing the reset, and nothing. PINGing the IP returns unvavailable.
Any ideas?
Support was very helpful actually, went through what I had already done to troubleshoot and determined the unit was defective. Have lifetime replacement, so they are sending out a new one.
Thank you for the help!

Hi,
In the case of connecting to a PC isolated from the network, can you ping the AP? Try the default IP address of 192.168.0.100, after you hit the reset button for 8 to 10 seconds.

I tried that too.
it says it unreachable.
it is sending out the default Wifi signal too. but connecting to that does the same thing.
