Insight Switch "Waiting for first connection"
This is regarding a 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Smart Switch with 2 SFP Ports and Cloud Management(GS724TPv3).
I have quite a few Insight switches and wifi hotspots on my home network. Always been straight forward adding new devices to Netgear Insight account.
For a week or so been trying to add the above switch. When I connect the switch two network comes up on app and says added OK, get the email saying its added. Then just says waiting for first connect and been like that for a week. Support told me to delete via Insight web page which produced an email saying deleted, then added again and got message saying updating firmware etc., Then back to "Waiting for first connection".

Thanks for reporting a problem.
Can you please make sure your GS724TPv3 switch is running with the latest firmware? The latest firmware can be downloaded from https://www.netgear.com/support/product/gs724tpv3/#download.
Also, please make sure the Insight URLs are whitelisted on your local network, so that device communication traffic to Insight is not blocked.
What is your Insight account ID? Can you please enable the technical support mode on it?

The Insight web GUI said the switch had upgraded to latest firmware when it connected briefly.
The URL whitelisting is OK as I have multiple Netgear insight devices connected on the same network.
I've enable tech support access.
I've sent my account details via the support ticket. Thanks
