Hi wax610
We've just released WAX610 / WAX610Y Firmware Version 10.6.0.7 which has a fix for this issue. Please try the firmware and let us know if there are any further issues.
Bug Fixes:
Fixes an issue where the AP starts operating on 802.3af power even when powered by an 802.3at or 802.3bt switch.
Thanks

Hi DavidGo,
Thanks for the swift reply. Will this new firmware be published to the endpoint facing update servers?
I ask because my AP says that V10.5.0.16 is the latest version available.- DavidGoSep 05, 2023NETGEAR Expert
The update should be present. I just tested myself and can see V10.6.0.7 available. This is using the "Check for Upgrade" button on the Dashboard. Could you ty again?
Unless it was just added earlier today since your last message, otherwise could you check the AP is reaching the Internet OK, i.e. check default gateway and DNS servers are correct?
Thanks
