I have pulled out a pair of WGAP950 outdoor access points that been in storage for a number of years! Can't find any doco on Netgear's website or elsewhere and having reset both units, cannot find a login (username/password) combination to gain access to the device GUI. Does anyone have any idea on what this might be...? Have tried all combinations from standard netgear documentation.. thanks in advance WS..

Hi Wayne (@wspal) What browser are you using to open the GUI? would you able to use old IE like IE8/9 to open the GUI and try the login credential (admin/password) again? Regards, Jonathan

Welcome to the community! :)

I have searched online about the WGAP950 as well through our resources and I cannot find any information about this access point. If I look through the NETGEAR EOL (End-of-Life) Bulletin here, there is no WGAP950 as well. Is the WGAP950 a NETGEAR device? It would be best to post an image of it showing that its a NETGEAR access point.

  Thanks for this, trust me this has not been an easy endeavour hence my asking the community... the only website I found which lists this unit with many other “Netgear” devices, is this one... http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/answer_media/2649_GPL.html
  
  The included image, showing front and back, has the “Netgear Prosafe” logo and model number emblazoned on the front. So too does all the boxing, unfortunately no manuals though !!

    I have inquired your concern to a higher tier of NETGEAR Support. The WGAP950 might be possibly only available on some countries or region. The default credentials I have found out are the following below:
    
    username: admin
    
    password: password
    
    default IP address: 192.168.0.229
    
    Note: The default username and password are all in lowercase letters.
