Wifi 6 ax4200 access point
Hi there, just setting up the AC via PoE+ switch. The AC on/off icon flashes orange. I can see that this either means that the firmware is updating or the AC cannot find the DHCP server. aC has had enough time to download the latest firmware and the sky router is defo set up for the DHCP. This is a brand new set-up so i am now struggling to fault find? Can anyone help diagnose…surely this must be an in redibly simple fix?

What is this "Wifi 6 ax4200 access point"?
It is not a unique Netgear model number. Many devices come with an AC/AX tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and others, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the Model Number. And, if there is one, include the "V" bit to show the hardware version. If there is no V number, then you have V1.
To find the right section for questions about whatever it is – probably not here – put the model number into the bit where you can "Search the Community".
See above.

Hi Michael,
Apologies, the full model specification is:
- WIFI 6 AX4200 DUAL BAND MULTI-GIG ACCESS POINT MODEL WAX220
The unit powers up OK but the orange light stops in the blinking mode. POE switch is brand new also, plus the SKY route is DHCP enabled;ed so there shouldn't be an issue...very frustrating indeed!
Any help would be much appreciated?

According to the manual, the power LED is supposed to blink amber with a PoE+ connection. That seems to be at odds with the Installation Guide.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
