M4300-52-PoE+ and NMS300

I have a stack of M4300-52-PoE+ switches that I'm trying to add to NMS300 software. When I do a discovery it says credential failure. I'm running NMS300 version 1.7.0.12 and switch firmware 12.0.17.7...

TurskRO,  

 

There is no M4300-52-PoE+ switch model.  I believe you are referring to the M4300-52G-PoE+ switch model. 

 

As indicated in the NMS300 user manual, "If a credential failure occurs, a common reason is that the device login information changed from its default. When a credential failure occurs, add or modify the credential and run the discovery job again."  Kindly read pages 38-42 of the NMS user manual here on how to add or modify a device credential.

 

Also, try to connect the PC/laptop directly hardwired to the M4300-52G-PoE+ switch then check again if it will be discovered by the NMS300.

Yes, I have done exactly this. I have also change the credentials back to default and tried to use the default http credentials to discover it. None of this works.
