Netgear ReadyNAS RN214 - Seit Firmware Update Auslastung von System-Volume root beträgt 81 %

Problem:
Seit dem automatischen Firmware Update (6.7.5) am 3.8.2017 kommt täglich einmal folgende Fehlermeldung:
Volume: Auslastung von System-Volume root beträgt 81 %. Unter normalen Bedingungen sollte dieser Zustand nicht auftreten. Wenden Sie sich an den technischen Support.
Es gibt 10 Shares, keine iSCSI, 5 Benutzer, keine installierten Anwendungen, keine aktivierte ReadyCloud, keine Sicherung, kein SSH. Die NAS Konfiguration ist weitgehend default mäßig eingerichtet.

Update: nach einem weiteren Firmware Aktualisierung auf Firmware 6.8.1 ist die Auslastung von System-Volume Root weiter über 84 % angestiegen. Ich habe daher alle Daten vom NAS exportiert, die Konfiguration gesichert und das NAS auf Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt (blame on Netgear).
Beim Neu-Aufsetzen des NAS habe ich versucht, die gesichere Konfiguration wieder zurück zu laden, das leider auch mit einem System Error fehlgeschlagen ist.
Daher musste ich sämtliche Konten und Shares wieder manuell definieren und alle anderen Setups (Spinning Time, Time Machine, Workgroup, eMail Benachrichtigung, Passwörter) manuell wieder neu definieren. Ich vermute, dass in der alten Konfiguration offenbar auch ein Fehler gesteckt sein könnte, der einerseits für das Problem mit der System-Volume Root Auslastung mit verantwortlich sein könnte, und anderseits offenbar in dem Sicherungskonzept der Konfigurartion des NAS auch noch ein Firmware Fehler stecken dürfte (Netgear FEHLER 2 !!).
Für ein renommiertes Produkt von Netgear alles in allem keine erbauliche Erfahrngen !!!!
Seit de Zurücksetzen auf Werkseinstellungen ist die System-Volume Root Auslastung nur mehr 12% und hoffenlich jetzt stabil:

Zusammenfassung des Problems:
Die Datengröße auf den 4 WD Laufwerken zu je 6 TB beträgt seit etwa 29.03.2017 konstant etwa 2,3 bis 2,4 TB von insgesamt 16 TB in RAID5.
Vorinstalliert ist der Quad-Core ARMv7 Cortex A15 CPU 1.4 GHz mit 2 GB RAM.
Das Problem dürfte im internen md0 Linux Verzeichnis /dev/md0 mit einer Größe von 3.7 GB und mit 86% liegen. Allerdings sieht man im System-Log, dass das Problem schon offenbar vor dem Firmware Update 6.7.5 entstanden sein könnte: In den internen Logs gibt es bereits am 09.05.2017 das erste Mal einen Hinweis:

Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war noch die Firmware 6.6.1 aktiv und das NAS war längere Zeit gar nicht in aktiver Verwendung, das verwendete Datenvolumen betrug etwa 2,3 TB (von etwa 16 TB gesamt) und keine Daten wurden geschrieben oder gelesen, das NAS war zwar eingeschaltet aber praktisch nicht in Verwendung. Trotzdem ist offenbar der md0 Space koninuierlich angewachsen :smileysad: ... ich betrachte das für ein ziemlich schlechtes Ohmen für das gesamte ReadyNAS System !
Da das Gerät kaum ein halbes Jahr alt ist und vom Netgear Support keine reale Unterstützung angeboten wir (die 90 Tage Telefonsupport sind bereits abgelaufen), sollte man das NAS vermutlich rasch dem Händler (Cyberport) in Garantie zurückbringen und eine Alternative ins Auge fassen.
