Dante + AVB problem
Hi everyone,
I’ve been experiencing a recurring issue for several months now, and unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a solution despite my research.
Context:
When I configure two VLANs on a single switch (one for Dante and one for AVB), everything works perfectly. However, as soon as I add multiple switches in trunk mode, I experience audio dropouts of about ten seconds every 2 to 3 hours on the Dante VLAN (AVB remains very stable).
What I’ve already tried:
- I’ve kept the default settings for the configuration.
- I’ve also tested other settings, but without success.
If anyone has encountered this issue before or has any suggestions for resolving it, I’d greatly appreciate your advice or feedback.
Thank you in advance for your help!

We tried this several years ago, and gave up. Support was able to remote in and in a limited fashion change some settings to correct things.
We were told the newer profiles would then solve this.
It sounds like that is not the case. No matter what we did, the AVB present through the trunks clobbers the Dante
