If your Orbi Pro (SRK60, SXK80) started having frequent client disconnects try this workaround

Dear customers,

We noticed some issues in latest firmware that effects users with specific combinations of configuration.

1) DST enabled

2) Traffic meter Enabled.

There is traffic meter that keeps track of monthly usage stats.

In March  the time changes in middle of month. Orbi pro firmware hit some error that causes instability.  There will be permenet fix for the issue in next MR (Maintiance release).

This "instability in connections"issue is only from

March 14th to April 1st in US timezones

March 28th to April 1st in EU timezones.

and on units running v2.6.2 .200(SRK60 series) and v3.2.3.100 in SXK80

In the meanwhile, please do one of the following as workaround.

1) Set the timer start time to 1:00 and Restart the counter.

at Advance->Advance setup -> Traffic meter

2) Disable DST   at Advance->Administration->NTP settings

Apologies for this inconvenience.

  • The issue is fixed in below FW versions:

    SXK80: V3.3.0.100

    SXK30: V3.2.31.108

    SRK60: 2.7.0.100
