Orbi Pro SXR80 disconnects from internet periodically
I am in the UK and connect to the Internet using a 5G modem. The modem shows good signal and doesn't ever drop the connection.
I have the 5G modem set to bridge mode, dhcp, WiFi and routing disabled, and it's connected directly to the orbi. The orbi is getting a valid IP and everything works fine for several hours at a time.
However I've noticed that it continually loses connection to the Internet - the purple light comes on and everything stops working, all the devices are still connected to the WiFi network but they cannot route to the Internet. When this happens the IP the orbi has for the modem changes to 0.0.0.0 - when the orbi reconnects it shows the correct IP in it's place - and as my ISP assigns me a dynamic IP, I can tell it wasn't my 5G connection that dropped as the connection is still using the same IP as before the orbi thought the Internet disconnected (if the 5G connection had dropped I would be assigned a new IP on their network).
If I go to the admin page of the 5G modem it shows it's still connected to the service, in fact it shows some very slight upload traffic from the orbi, but 0 to it.
If I go to the orbi admin page it shows the Internet is disconnected. If I leave it alone it will start to work anything from a couple of minutes to half an hour later. But I can get it working within minutes by clicking on the internet test button on the orbi admin page. This fixes the Internet connection, until it happens again.
My network is really simple, just a modem feeding the orbi and about 25 devices connected via WiFi, and a hue bridge connected by ethernet.
It's really frustrating when it happens during a meeting as I work from home, and is starting to affect my job.
In desperation I've tried disabling DST and traffic monitoring as I saw that had affected other netgear products. It didn't help.
The logs don't seem to show anything helpful, other than Internet disconnected and Internet connected entries:
