SXR30 and orbilogin.com
Hi,
I am hoping someone can shed some light on an issue I had yesterday when trying to login to my Orbi.
I had some internet issues and wanted to check the config had not reset itself as I have had on my old Nighthawk, but I tried 2 different laptops and 2 different Browsers (Chrome and Edge) and neither would bring up the login page for orbilogin.com - I got errors that the page could not be found.
Yet when I got a Mac Air out (M1 Chip) and used Safari it worked fine... so I am suspecting there is something in the security of Edge or Chrome that is stopping this.. I am worried that this might stop working in the future, and I am sorry - but doing the config on a small Mobile app is not good for me and my eyesight, plus when the Internet is down, I need a way to connect locally.. I wish there was a Windows 11 version of the Orbi app.
In the meantime if anyway can shed some light on the possible causes I would be much appreciated.
Oh and yes - I am running the latest firmware (4.3.4.200) at time of writing
Thanks

Try the routers IP address in the browsers.
Be sure to clear out all browser caches before going to the routers web page.
Does FireFox work for the windows PC?
Try a different Windows PC to see if problem follows.

Thanks - didn't try Firefox.. but will give that a go in the future.
I did use 2 different Windows PCs and builds, both with Chrome and Edge before getting the Mac out.
I got the same response from the IP Address.. I get the cert error, then safe to visit and then the same error as the url.

What modem/gateway is it connected to?
Did you try using its IP address and not the orbi login address?

Thanks - It is connected to a Truespeed Fibre box (My ISP), I did try the IP address and it is different to the default, so no clashes etc.. I get a DHCP address rom the Orbi - so I know the contig was OK, and the fact it worked from Safari led me to thin it was a security setting in Chrome and Edge

Might try resetting defaults in Chrome and Edge in there settings and see if this helps any.
I haven't had my 30 series on in a while and haven't had since I got 11 installed in '23. I guess I should check on it.
