Netgear Genie - Parental Control Not working

Netgear Genie (on both iOS and PC) wouldn't allow me to perform Parental Control. 

 

Genie App on PC is stuck saying "You don't appear to be connected to Internet ..." and "Identifying your Router". 

 

I have done FW upgrade of the router as well as the factory reset but it did not help.

 

Appreciate any help.

  • You are correct! After I downgraded to FW version V1.0.0.56_1.0.18, things are working again. I hope that Netgear takes note of this and fixes this in the next version of the FW.

  • Same problem here.  Seemed to happen after the firmware update.

        I just downgraded too and everything is working again on the app!
