Orbi RBR50 parental controls not working
I have an RBR50 and two RBS50 satellites that work great. I purchased a Parental Controls subscription about 2 years ago, and I noticed in the last 3 months that it no longer works. I have been attempting to fix this issue for a few weeks now but to no avail. Specifically, I have reset my Orbi system several times, and I have updated my firmware twice. The router and two satellites are now running the latest v2.7.5.4 Completely stumped and frustrated…CIRCLE & APPLE TV
I am using the Orbi RBR20 with integrated Circle. Circle is not seeing Apple TV traffic. I have tried it connected by LAN and wireless. I have verifed the MAC address being used by the Apple TV matches the one shown on the router for the Apple TV (I have previously seen different MAC addresses being logged for the Apple TV). There was a very brief period of time when the Apple TV traffic was recorded/monitored/controlled by Circle. That was when I first switched it from wired LAN to wifi, but I cannot get it to do so again. I have found no one else posting a similar problem on any forum. Does anyone have any idea of what may be going on?I can not receive the circle pass code
My wifi AP is Nighthawk R7000. Recently, my cell phone OS was broken and reset it. Then I found I cannot login the circle. It always asks me to enter the "Passcode". as I remember, I didn't setup my cell phone number into circle. is it possible to reset my account.Circle passcode and remote access - Orbi RBR50
Dear team, Haveing issues in getting the Circle passcode, unable to use the remote access to control the Circle from outside home and not receiving any notification of new devices joining my home network or any network outages. I am using the Nighthawk R7960P router with the Circle app. I have been using the circle app for over two years, and I turned off the internet for my son's laptop. Now the circle app is not able to connect Netgear router. I always get an error message saying, "Can't connect Circle". I tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, and installing the app on android and iOS devices, but no luck. Any help on this issue? Thanks SatishParental controls for R6900v2
Today, I upgraded my Nighthawk R6900v2 firmware to V1.2.0.92_1.0.1 1. The R6900v2 documentation dated Feb 2022 says I should be able to use parental controls https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/R6900v2/R6900v2_UM_EN.pdf 2. When I click on parental controls in my updated NetGear genie, it says my firmware does not support Live Parental Controls, and says the following: Checking router firmware We're making sure you have firmware that supports Live Parental Controls. Your router's current firmware does not support Live Parental Controls. Please go to http://www.netgear.com/ to download the latest firmware or use the "Router "Upgrade" feature in your routers web GUI at http://www.routerlogin.net/ to update the firmware first. 3. Got a new iphone and didnt think anything about signing out of circle on old phone which has now been reset. Trying to get myself back into my circle and ask for text message to send code but nothing... What can I do. Any other way to get round this? Its on a Nighthawk R7000RBR40 Orbi- Circle stopped working
Hello, We have had a positive experience with this Orbi RBR40 router and satellite system up until recently. The router is still working but the built-in parental control is not. Unfortunately, the Disney Circle parental controls no longer exist as of the past couple of weeks. There is suddenly no internet filtering happening. We have an active premium subscription which renewed again last October. I have reset the router (multiple times), deleted/reinstalled apps (multiple times), checked firmware version, etc... When I open the Netgear Orbi app and select Parental Controls, I see a "we found your Circle" message. I then get a passcode screen after I hit the "manage" button. I don't have any idea what this might be, but I'm the only admin so I choose that option. This leads to a screen for an option to receive the passcode via sms. I have tried this, but never receive a text. I found another user with a similar problem so I emailed the same circle support tech. He emailed right away. While he did indicate Circle doesn't support this version, he sent me a passcode anyway but it didn't work giving me the same "could not connect" message. Does anyone else have an RBR40? This model isn't listed from the drop-down options but the RBR50 is. Also, if it matters, I'm using an iPhone 12 Pro to run Netgear Orbi and Circle 1st gen apps. If anyone is or has been in the same boat, I would appreciate some help! Thanks. Mike
