Access to the settings of my RAX120 Nighthawk via the Nighthawk app.

Good morning,

Until recently, I had access to the settings of my RAX120 Nighthawk via the Nighthawk mobile application (current version 2.33.0.269 firmware: v1.2.9.52) outside of my local network.

Recently, when I am on another network or 4G the connection is no longer possible even though the 'Activate access anywhere' cursor is green.

      it's on ios

      RAX120

      locally connected (connecté localement in french)

      Before I had 2 options: localy and internet (I don't remember the exact word)

       

  • Same problem a lot of time ago. I tried to re enable anywhere access in the app and restart router, I tried to reset router but nothing worked. I need to connect outside because is the router forma my business.

     

    I had two netgear, at home r7000 and business rax120. When i tried to connect to rax120 get an screen telling detecting product and when i click connect anywhere access it keeps connecting to r7000, never rax120

     

    Any other thing to try? thank you very much

      Hello, the solution is quite simple, you have to wait a few weeks and the problem is solved without doing anything. The problem certainly comes from them. You will see one day you will find normal operation by miracle. I have never had a technical answer that allowed me to solve this quickly.

        I have already wait few weeks and didnt work. With the other router r7000 same thing happened until they update  firmware.

         

        Long time ago I cant remote manage via web or app my router, and have to wait for a miracle to get it?
