Cannot login with NetGenie

I am unable to logon to Parental Controls through NetGenie. I have the router update with firmware V1.0.1.26_1.0.19. I use WIndows 10 and ESET Internet Security 10. When I click on the Parental Controls it reports it is checking firmware and also that I might not be using a Netgear supported router. If I press try again and try to logon to router, it just goes back to the same screen.

I can logon to OpenDNS and set parental controls there, but they are not enabled on the router. I can logon to the router through my browser, but I can't control Parental Controls from there. I have unistalled and reinstalled NetGenie. I have reset the router. I have shaken my fist and looked angrily at the router, but nothing works. Help!

    Hi Jazzfish_77,

    1. Have you tried using another device (Android, iOS, another computer)?

    2. Are you able to login to the router using the NETGEAR Genie app (not via the Parental Controls option) to check if the app detects the router?

    3. Have you tried temporarily disabling the security software?

    Regards,

      Dexter,

Thanks for the reply. I have not tried to log on with another computer or other device. I can logon with the Genie. I just can't log on to the parental controls. I did disable my security software.

Still unable to use parental controls.

        Dexter,

        Thanks for your feedback.

I will try to log on through another device when I get a chance. I did log on through the link you provided, which works fine and I can set the parental controls. Unfortunately, they are never pushed out to the router and nothing is blocked.
