netgear Genie Software PW Access

So let's say I want to remove the filters from Network Genie to unprotect my computer. All I need to do is open the app, then click disable parental controls. BRILLANT DESIGN!! That means the computer is unprotected at the click of a button! Any suggestions to get around the flawed design? Basically I want to ensure that the Disable Parental Controls cannot be selected. It would seem that requiring a password would have made sense. I find the only way to do this is to install the software on another computer?
