Can't connect to nighthawk app - Spectrum Internet - AC1600 Model C6250
Just moved and got my router and internet set up (AC1600 WiFi Model C6250; Spectrum Internet). In trying to connect to the nighthawk app it tells me my firmware is out of date. When I go to routerlogin is shows V1.01.26 and doesn't give me a way to update it. On the netgear website it says this the latest Spectrum approved firmware. Wifi disconnects every 20 min. According the the nighthawk app, my router/modem needs an update. However, when I finally log into genie / www.routerlogin , I go to advanced and there’s no update. It even says my internet connection is good and everything in the green. What’s further frustrating is I bought Ethernet cables and they connect, yet wifi still goes out. When I called NETGEAR (literally so unhelpful) they told me I needed a “little firmware update” (what does this mean I have 1.01.26) but when I queried about my circumstance above, they told me to enroll in a 140 dollar program because there’s more than can see on their end. Are there any app downloads for MacBooks from NetGear? I only saw apps for IPhone and IPad. Or should i just use the router address to configure my wifi. Which is better and more secure? R7900P Router Firmware v1.4.1.68_1.3.28 Nighthawk App v2.9.5.14 iOS 14.4.2 I updated firmware yesterday and have not been able to sign in to Nighthawk app ever since. I’ve tried everything I can think of. Deleted app and reinstalled. Even changed router name and password back to factory specs. No dice. Routerlogin.net (192.168.1.1) works fine on Windows 10. Hi, I've got a R7000 router with the latest firmware version (R7000-V1.0.9.32_10.2.34.zip) and my drives aren't shown at ReadyCloud through web interface. I've already tried everything I could imagine like: 1 - Reseting the router and configuring everything manually (not restoring config); 2 - Flashing the latest firmware again; 3 - Unregistering the router in ReadyCloud and registering again and so on. For me having access to my router through web interface is really important, because, besides being simple, I can also access my files and upload new ones from my work without installing any third party software. Can I do anything to solve this? I've noticed this issue has been constantly reported by many users in other posts. After receiving email to update firmware, installed the NIGHTHAWK app. Updated my Netgear info on computer. Thru the app can only get to the page to visit routerlogin.net. Once I click on that button, I cannot log into routerlogin.net. Tried multiple user name and passwords. Cannot update firmware. Any suggestions?Updated firmware and now R7000 is not supported?
Received an email from netgear saying there was a security update in the latest firmware and I needed to download the nighthawk app and update my router. So I did. The app hung on my iphone. So I left my iphone running overnight. In the morning, still hung. So I power cycled the router and I got rid of that nighthawk app. Genie was working fine, I don't know why I'm supposed to use yet another app. So I don't know if the update was successful or not because now I can't log into my router over wifi to check the firmware version. I've got connectivity, I'm connected via wifi, but Genie says the router is unsupported. If I bring up genie, everything looks good until I hit router settings, then it won't take my login and says my router isn't supported. Sorry for the redundancy. But hey, this nighthawk app is redundant too, so **bleep** for tat I guess.R7000 after firmware upgrade, Bedtime function in Circle doesn’t function properly anymore.
I have just updated my Netgear R7000 firmware to V1.0.9.26_10.2.31. I have also enabled the Circle(parental guidance) on my Netgear router with bedtime function turned for my kid. After the firmware upgrade, my kid's profile seems acting very strange, such as it immediately said all the time has been all used up and it keeps saying it has been passed his bedtime. I have recreated my kid's user profile from my iPhone Circle application but still, the bedtime isn't working properly. Can someone help, please? Is this firmware not compatible with Circle on my Netgear router?
