iPhone Nighthawk App sends security code to retired iphone & sends code via email that never arrives
My Netgear Nighthawk 9000 router is up-to-date and functional. I have been accessing the settings fields using routerlogin address via MS Edge. I installed the Nighthawk iPhone app on my iPhone 12 and signed in using my login and password. The app responded with a request to send a security code because it didn't recognize my iPhone. It sent the code to my retired iPhone. Retries brought the same outcome. Next, I tried the alternate method of sending the code via email. The app had my correct email address, but the code never arrived. Retries brought the same outcome. How does this get resolved? Thanks!nighthawk mesh 6 app for MacBook
Are there any app downloads for MacBooks from NetGear? I only saw apps for IPhone and IPad. Or should i just use the router address to configure my wifi. Which is better and more secure? In the past month something changed with the Nighthawk app and router settings online. When I disable a device, my son is still able to go on Google Meets. It used to disable all internet access. Why did this change? How do I take back full control so my son isn't chatting with his friends on the home iPad while doing virtual school by using the router settings?Updated firmware and now R7000 is not supported?
Received an email from netgear saying there was a security update in the latest firmware and I needed to download the nighthawk app and update my router. So I did. The app hung on my iphone. So I left my iphone running overnight. In the morning, still hung. So I power cycled the router and I got rid of that nighthawk app. Genie was working fine, I don't know why I'm supposed to use yet another app. So I don't know if the update was successful or not because now I can't log into my router over wifi to check the firmware version. I've got connectivity, I'm connected via wifi, but Genie says the router is unsupported. If I bring up genie, everything looks good until I hit router settings, then it won't take my login and says my router isn't supported. Sorry for the redundancy. But hey, this nighthawk app is redundant too, so **bleep** for tat I guess.
R7000 Parent control (turn internet completely off) - how to?
Ho. Just bought a R7000 Nighthawk router 30 mins ago, expecting it within the next few days. I have searched "Parential control" but it seems it's only for specific programs or specific sites. I would like to know if it is possible to completely turn off internet acces eg. between 3 AM to 6 AM every night for a specific PC?
